The canonical definition names the provider type, lifecycle and supported capability.
Connections
Connections are Continuum's canonical definitions for reaching approved outside services and tools. Configured, ready, observed healthy and authorized are different questions.
Checking operator access
Continuum is verifying the protected Check In operator session before loading Connection definitions.
Definition, readiness and evidence stay separate.
Readiness describes configuration facts. It is not provider health or Authority.
Evidence is immutable and temporal. No evidence means no evidence has been recorded.
When qualifying Connection health evidence is accepted, canonical connection.health appears in Current State. No accepted evidence means no canonical State. Connections does not derive it.
Real Connections
Only protected Connection records returned by the backend appear here. Planned providers are not mixed into this inventory.
Waiting for protected backend truth.
A configured, ready or healthy Connection never authorizes an action by itself.
This surface reads definitions and evidence. It does not execute provider actions.
The production probe endpoint is intentionally not exposed or invoked from this surface.
